Today’s PE lesson was quite short—only half
an hour. However, it was quite tiring because it was purely some physical training.
It was like this: students are separate into different teams and each team is
separate into two parts, each part stand on one side of the part of the
playground. One of the teammate in one side is going to rush to the other side
and clap hand with one guy over there to allow him/her to rush to the other
side. All the teams were involved in a competition and the team which won will
have two giant size of “plus 100” as prizes. I thought this was my chance to
show a little bit because I have been practicing distance running for really a
long time. However, after the competition began, I found it was definitely not
the case. After the PE lesson, I reflected and finally found that distance
running is more about improving your endurance while 20m running is about speed
strength. Although I tried my best to accelerate, I owned no advantages.
However, when it comes to the recovery, I found several of my friends still
feel acidic on their legs in the next day while I did not feel tired right
after I finished all the 20m running.
